Event description: Developing an efficient genome editing system in plants that are not genetic models is challenging, but holds enormous potential in plant science. In this webinar, we will discuss the potential applications of CRISPR in diverse non-model plant systems, the mechanism of CRISPR-mediated genome editing, and the considerations in adapting CRISPR/Cas9 in non-model systems. Through this webinar, we hope to encourage a burst of CRISPR applications within our community in the near future.
